Medical Massage

 

Address a great number of conditions brought on by disease, physical trauma, and psychological conditions. Treatment is specifically directed to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician.

Diagnosis needed if seeking medical insurance reimbursement.

 

Multiple sessions are highly recommended and vary from

2 times a week for a period of 2-4 weeks, followed by

1 time a week for a period of 3 weeks, then every other week.

Another popular treatment plan is 

1 visit a week for 3-4 weeks followed by

bi-weekly visits, then every 3 weeks. This plan ends with your choice of once a month or once every 6 weeks.

Massage therapy is detailed, tactical, structured and strategic. Neuromusclar (NMT) protocols, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) protocols and Ligamentous Articular Strain (LAS) techniques are applied to move and promote the body back into homeostatis.

Medical Massages address the following.

  • Musculoskeletal Conditions - Sprain and strain. 

  • Postural dysfunctions- Scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis.

  • Peripheral nervous system - Sciatica, Bell's Palsy, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome.

  • Joint dysfunction - TMJ ( Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction), Degenerative Joint Disease.

  • Head/neck Conditions - Whiplash,  headaches.

  • Central nervous system - Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Seizures, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's.

Massage District will not file insurance claims for you.  We can provide you with proper documentation (superbill) for you to file directly with your carrier.

The goal is to maintain bi-montly, monthly, or quartly visits.
